from our Home to yours

Periodically there is a breeding dog retiring.  This doesn't mean she/he is all washed up and on their last legs. Most dogs are homed in guardian homes where they start and live out their whole lives.  A select few are our family pets.  My kids have shared their beds, helped me bath and clean up after messes of these family members.   These dogs do life with us, come on trips with us and live full lives on the farm.  But, as breeders I feel it is ethical to rehome the retired dogs.  I know they will have a wonderful life and I will get to watch it from afar.
