Imagine a Family sitting around the Kitchen Table.... 

The energy is high as everyone is calling out their favouite puppy names!  Mum chimes in with the suggestion that they all pick their favourite name and pop it in a hat.  The name picked would be the new pet poodle puppy's name.  What are the odds of Princess Buttercup being chosen from the hat?  1 out of 6, and fate would have it that our beautiful little apricot standard poodle would learn to come to that very name.  Cause a deal's a deal....  and so  Princess Buttercup was the start of our Royal Journey!!

Hello, my name is Traci and although I started out breeding purebred chocolate labradors, along the way, I fell in love with Labradoodles, and later Retrodoodles.
After copious amounts of research and advice I learned about the breed (crossbreed) and realised that I needed to breed to a certain type, confirmation and standard (read about generations/coat types and more, here on this page).  Today, Royal Retrodoodles & Labradoodles breed  Retrodoodles (aka Goldendoodles / Groodles) and Labradoodles of the highest quality in looks and temperament.

I am dedicated to breed the best doodles in NZ, but my passion is equipping their owners/families to develop them into settled, loving, obedient fur family members that will bless their homes always !!
